Founded in 1993, ABMSS promotes the social causes of child and women welfare. Since 2013, the organization has been focusing exclusively on cleft work to provide children with deformities with safe, timely, and high-quality surgery. Over 35,000 corrective cleft surgeries have already been performed by ABMSS to date and cleft centers have established 36 cleft centres spread across 14 Indian states, with comprehensive cleft centers in 6 states.
