KIRLOSKAR VASUNDHARA

As one of India’s largest engineering conglomerates, Kirloskar, formed in 1888, is dedicated to conserving the environment through their ‘Ramnadi Restoration Mission’, which seeks to re-establish Ramnadi, the lifeblood of Pune, as it was 70 years ago. People, NGOs and civil society organizations, corporations, and government entities are involved in implementing the mission by conducting river cleaning programs to remove waste and sewage from the river, as well as creating awareness and water literacy among the population in the river basin to promote a sustainable lifestyle.
